In August 2026, the appraisal meeting for the scientific and technological achievements of the 5000-ton DMSO dry-jet wet-spinning high-performance PAN-based precursor complete equipment and process project, jointly developed by Jinggong Technology and the industry-university-research team, was successfully held. The appraisal committee unanimously agreed that the research and development of the project's products was successful, and the overall technology of the equipment was at the international advanced level. Specifically, the DMSO recovery steam unit consumption and the temperature uniformity within the polymerization reactor reached the international leading level.

In May 2026, the Technical Seminar of the High-Performance Carbon Fiber Equipment and Composite Materials Manufacturing Industry Innovation Center was grandly held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. Led by Chen Wenxing, CAE Member and President of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, and Li Hejun, CAE Member and Professor of Northwestern Polytechnical University, the participants conducted in-depth discussions and reached a consensus on key issues such as the establishment plan and technical route of the innovation center, jointly promoting the work of striving for the establishment of national manufacturing industry innovation centers.

Since its foray into the carbon fiber business in 2013, Jinggong Technology has successively overcome a series of key core technological barriers: in 2020, it achieved full localization of the carbonization production line for carbon fiber, covering the production needs of T400-T1100 high-strength and M40J-M55J high-modulus carbon fiber series; in 2026, the carbon fiber precursor production line was successfully developed and put into operation.
Both core equipment technologies have filled domestic gaps and achieved international advanced levels in technical indicators, indicating that the company has established independent and controllable capabilities across the entire carbon fiber equipment chain, from precursor yarn to carbonization and composite materials, leading the high-quality development of the industry with its robust technological strength.
