On June 28th, the carbon fiber ship lightweight composite material project was officially signed in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. The People's Government of Daishan County, Zhejiang Jinggong Integrated Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Jinggong Technology"), Shangchen (Shaoxing, Zhejiang) Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shangchen Composite Materials"), and Zhoushan Ningxing Shipbuilding and Repair Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Ningxing Shipbuilding") jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Leaders including Lu Jianbo, Deputy Secretary and County Mayor of the People's Government of Daishan County, Liu Tian, Director of the Management Committee of Daishan Economic Development Zone, Sun Guojun, Chairman of Jinggong Technology, Li Aijun, President of Jinggong Technology, Zhao Xin, General Manager of Shangchen Composite Materials, and Wang Wentong, Chairman of Ningxing Shipbuilding attended the signing ceremony.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Sun Guojun, Chairman of Jinggong Technology, warmly welcomed the arrival of County Mayor Lu Jianbo and all parties involved in the agreement. He then introduced the development of the group's "3+1" industrial sector, focusing on the development of Jinggong Technology's deep cultivation of equipment intelligent manufacturing. He stated that Seiko Technology has established an advantageous position in the field of carbon fiber full industry chain by building a "trinity" equipment industry chain of raw silk, carbonization, and composite materials. He looks forward to leveraging the company's integrated advantages in carbon fiber full industry chain equipment and technology, and working together with all parties to promote the industrialization and large-scale application of marine composite materials.

At the meeting, Lu Jianbo, Deputy Secretary of the Daishan County Party Committee and County Mayor, highly praised the achievements of Jinggong Technology in the field of carbon fiber equipment, and also expressed expectations for this strategic cooperation. He stated that in recent years, Daishan has anchored its "dual carbon" goals and built a green energy industry system that integrates wind power, photovoltaic power, and hydrogen energy from a high starting point. I hope that through this strategic cooperation, we can jointly focus on high-tech shipbuilding, high-end marine equipment manufacturing, offshore wind power industry and other fields, layout the large-scale promotion and application of national strategic and critical new materials, and promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional marine economy.

In order to achieve the "dual carbon" goal, green, low-carbon, energy-saving and emission reduction have become the main directions for the development of the shipbuilding industry. There is an urgent need for the design and application of lightweight, zero emission, and new fuel ship types, among which the application of composite materials is the trend. The 14th Five Year Plan for the Construction of Global Advanced Manufacturing Bases in Zhejiang Province clearly points out the need to focus on developing new materials and high-end equipment, including high-performance fibers and composite materials, to promote the high-quality development of ships and marine engineering equipment. This provides strong policy support for the implementation and application of this project.

At the signing ceremony, Liu Tian, Director of the Management Committee of Daishan Economic Development Zone, Li Aijun, President of Jinggong Technology, Zhao Xin, General Manager of Shangchen Composite Materials, and Wang Wentong, Chairman of Ningxing Shipbuilding, represented all parties to sign a strategic cooperation agreement.

The signing of this strategic cooperation marks the first successful step of the carbon fiber ship lightweight composite material project. Next, all parties to the agreement will make every effort to allocate resources for sharing, complement each other's advantages, and closely cooperate, accelerate the implementation of project results in Zhejiang, fully promote the industrialization of carbon fiber lightweight marine products, and comprehensively assist the shipbuilding industry in high-quality development towards safer, more energy-efficient, and more environmentally friendly directions.
