Recently, the Shaoxing Science and Technology Bureau issued a document titled “Notice on the Announcement of the 2023 List of City-Level Key Laboratories for Accreditation and Cultivation,” in which Jinggong Technology's Carbon Fiber Specialized Equipment Laboratory was honored as a “2023 Shaoxing City-Level Key Laboratory.”

The Jinggong Technology Carbon Fiber Specialized Equipment Laboratory focuses on tackling key research challenges in carbon fiber (new materials) specialized equipment. It closely aligns with the national “Dual Carbon” strategy goals, leveraging existing research features and foundational advantages to deeply focus on the entire carbon fiber industry chain. This effort includes achieving complete localization of core carbonization equipment technologies. Additionally, the laboratory has made significant contributions to the polymerization and spinning process stages, mastering dry-jet wet spinning and wet spinning technologies for precursor production, thereby continuously providing more stable and reliable precursor supply to the domestic market. In 2023, the laboratory successfully developed end-to-end pre-oxidation furnaces and ultra-high-temperature graphitization furnaces, leading in core technology advantages and strengthening Jinggong Technology’s core competitiveness in carbon fiber equipment.

In terms of talent development, the laboratory has established a top-notch research platform, introduced outstanding young researchers, and trained frontline staff. This has resulted in a well-structured and innovative research team led by high-level technical personnel. The team will focus on building the carbon fiber industry chain system and fully implement the industry’s “three-in-one” development strategy, striving to extend the carbon fiber industry chain further.

Moving forward, Jinggong Technology will rely on the key laboratory's innovation platform to continue investing in research and development.
