Jinggong Technology's high-performance carbon fiber precursor (polymerization process) has successfully passed the expert group review for the first time in China to demonstrate the safety and reliability of chemical processes. On December 7th, the Zhejiang Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, commissioned by the Zhejiang Provincial Emergency Management Department, organized a review meeting for the "Safety and Reliability Demonstration of Chemical Process for the First Time in China" of high-performance PAN fibers in Hangzhou. Jinggong Technology received the approval letter on December 10th.

At the review meeting, the expert group conducted a detailed review and examination of all project materials, had in-depth exchanges and discussions with project technical personnel, conducted a comprehensive analysis of the safety of the production process of the project, and fully demonstrated the reliability and safety of the project's technical sources.

The expert group believes that the polymerization process of this project adopts the gradient heating DMSO semi batch solution polymerization method, which is in line with the principle that "the product is produced by other chemical enterprises in China, but the process route, raw material route or operation route is the first time used in China", and belongs to the first chemical process adopted in China. After small-scale, pilot, and expansion tests, the enterprise has mastered the main key technologies of the process, and on the premise of strictly complying with relevant national laws, regulations, standards and specifications, and implementing various safety measures, it has the conditions for industrial safety production. The expert group unanimously agreed to pass the review.

After years of technical reserves and process research in PAN fiber technology, Jinggong Technology has conducted small, medium, and large-scale process safety studies and explorations in chemical characteristic analysis, reactor structure research, polyacrylonitrile synthesis process research, and polymerization process route selection. Key parameters such as reaction temperature, initiator dosage, reactant concentration, and chain transfer agent addition have been thoroughly verified, meeting the safety and reliability requirements of chemical processes.
