Zhejiang Jinggong Technology Co., Ltd. was elected as the vice chairman unit of the Executive Committee at the first council meeting of the first session.

At 11:30 on November 1st, Minister Li Yixian of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore held a grand launching ceremony for the establishment of the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association.

The Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) is led by photovoltaic industry organizations and mainstream companies from Asian countries. In May 2008, the preparatory working group of the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association was established to develop the economy in Singapore. With the support and promotion of the Bureau and the Tourism Bureau, the CPA Partnership Pte Ltd accounting firm in Singapore was formally applied to the Singapore Business Registration Authority (ACRA) for registration of the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association non-profit enterprise according to the regulations for the establishment of non-profit enterprises in Singapore. Approved by the Singapore government on January 16, 2009.

The Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association is a voluntary non-profit social organization that implements industry services and self-discipline management. It is composed of Asian PV industry companies, research institutes and other related organizations.

The purpose of the association is to promote the technology, economy and information exchange within the industry associations, promote the ties between members and governments and society, promote the advancement of photovoltaic technology and the promotion of advanced technologies, promote the economic development of the industry, and provide services to members.
